Poetry.
Privacy
The short, honest version.
TL;DR: If you request beta access, we store your email so we can send you one invite. We don't sell it, share it, or track you around the web. The app itself runs on your machine and doesn't phone home with your library.
What we collect on this site
Only what you type into the beta form:
- Your email address.
- Whether you ticked the optional "I use a dedicated DAC / hi-res setup" box — purely to help us prioritise invites.
- Your browser's user-agent string and the country code Cloudflare attaches to the request, kept only as rough context. We do not store your IP address.
What we do with it
We email you when a beta spot opens. That's the only intended use. Reply "remove" to any message and we delete your record.
What we don't do
- No analytics or tracking pixels on this page.
- No selling or sharing of your email.
- No marketing automation or drip campaigns.
The app
Poetry plays your local library on your own machine. The optional iPhone remote talks to your Mac over your local network. Optional metadata lookups (covers, bios) reach out to public databases and are always attributed in the app.
Hosting
This site is served by Cloudflare Pages, and the beta list is stored in a Cloudflare database. Cloudflare processes requests as our hosting provider.
